Description

The Steuben County Public Defender's Office serves our community with high quality, client-centered, holistic family defense in the beautiful Southern Tier Region of New York.  This position requires representation of individuals in Custody and Visitation, Abuse and Neglect, Family Offense, Support and Paternity matters. 

Salary ranges from $75,941 to $118,771 DOE.  

Benefits include:  Health insurance with dental and vision benefits, NYS retirement system, Deferred Compensation, EAP program and coverage of all fees related to licenses, memberships and CLE's.

Requirements

Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State certified Law School;
Admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and be in “good standing”;
Experience in the practice of Family Law in New York.
