What You’ll Do:
Represent indigent clients in criminal cases in Ulster County Court.
Provide zealous, client-centered advocacy in and out of the courtroom.
Work closely with a supportive team of attorneys, investigators, social workers, and staff to build strong defenses.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced trial lawyer, with at least three years practicing criminal law, who can handle cases from initial investigation through motions, plea negotiations, and the actual courtroom proceedings, including jury selection and presentation of evidence.
Strong commitment to criminal defense, social justice, and public service.
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with determination and creativity.
A passion for ensuring fairness and dignity for every client.
Three or more years of felony litigation experience in Criminal Court, including courtroom advocacy and trials.
Admission to the Bar of the State of New York in good standing.
