The Livingston County Public Defender's Office is dedicated to providing holistic and client-centered representation through a team of multidisciplinary professionals. Livingston County seeks to hire a full time attorney to add to our dynamic team. Applicants should have an interest in and dedication to the representation of indigent individuals in criminal courts. Training available to inexperienced attorneys. Bilingual (Spanish) applicants are highly desired. Livingston County is a beautiful rural county located in the Finger Lakes region south of Rochester, with easy access to both Rochester and Buffalo.

Requirements

Admitted to practice law in NYS; graduation from an accredited law school

$85,000 - $100,000 salary; health insurance, dental insurance, PTO, Deferred Compensation match plan, NYS retirement system
